I would also like to get back the F-18, EH-101 & P-51 & the bonus missions that Acceloration used to have. The LDS 767 for example works perfectly with the standalone SP2 and has documented bugs with the Acceleration SP2.
Since the original post seemed mostly concerned about improvement to frame rates, I didn't think the activity of the other cores was significant. FSX-SP2 Service Patch 2 utilizes Simconnect 9.0 and ACCELERATION or XPACK (Expansion Pack) utilizes Simconnect 7.0. The replies indicated the same as you indicate.
